I have been working so hard at this hat! In later rows you can even spot where I evened up my tension! I was trying to get it finished before the cold really set in. So far I’m doing ok, the days are hovering around 10C at the moment. Not into single digits yet!

The weather today has been just spectacular. Perfect for walking and enjoying the sunshine. Warm enough that when walking I had to take my jacket off to cool down! Then of course it rained on me and I put it back on to keep me dry. Would you like to know more?
Last Winter everything was a bit tight around the belt-line. The expenses had been many and varied; what with moving country, buying an apartment, and Giftmas being in Winter in this strange hemispere … So we made do with a lot of things. Including our Winter jackets from Australia.
This wasn’t a problem. We had plenty of layers, and never got cold. We just sometimes looked like starfish … But we’ve fixed that now! We both finally have our very own Northern Europe Winter Jackets!
