I was about to say that you have no idea how much fun I had setting this up; but those of you that know me will have a pretty good idea actually! (I marinated cucumber!!!)
Let’s see, it was; an excuse to show off all my pretty lacey things,
My beautiful china and furniture,
Then there was the food!
Everything seemed to go down really well, and everyone was very impressed! Now I can’t wait to do it all again!

These happy, tasty looking little cup cake brooches are some prototypes for a new range that will be starting with the shop revamp! I’m so excited!
Himself and I hosted a small soiree of familial proportions recently. We were aiming for relaxed gathering that was a little different to what we normally do. I think we achieved our goal admirably!
We began by heading down the road to the Sydney Fish Markets, where, as the name suggests, you can buy fish.
Did I mention fish?
And marine life?
And fillets! (of fish)
And marine life!
But there’s so much more to the Fish Markets! On any visit you can buy everything you need for a large party, or small gathering. From the wine,
To the deli selection of cheeses, cured meats, and sauces.
If you’re inclined towards a romantic encounter, you can also purchase a good start on the way to any woman’s heart; flowers
Followed by a mountain of chocolate!

On the weekend, we went on a mini adventure that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. We went on a Bear Hunt.
Now, I know what you’re thinking; Bears? In the Mountains? Who’d have thought?
But they are there! They exist! And we shot them.
Proof you say?
They were trying to escape! But we got them! WE WON!
Damn I love our life! *grins*
This weekend Spring finally felt like it had loosened the stranglehold of Winter. With the sun shining, and the earth feeling like it was waking up from a long night’s sleep, I felt the urge to spring clean the house, and prepare for party season!
So instead of clearing and cleaning, we began backwards and went to the local nursery!
Look at all the beautiful plants!!!
So much potential!
Oh, and of course we’ll definitely need a water feature.
With a crocodile.
