The silence was something that both Himself and I wished to reacquaint ourselves with. That night we sat there in silence, sipping on a nice red wine, munching our sandwiches, and contemplating the larger, and smaller questions of life. Would you like to know more?

Christchurch – Part 3

Next we wanted to see friends. Facebook is one thing, but it’s so much better to actually see the people you care about and sit with them around a table having a pink cider and gossiping about all of life’s little intricacies! So we found a likely looking venue …

Christchurch – Part 2

Into the museum and we discovered a Banksy exhibition was on. I’ve been a fan of Banksy for quite a few years now, I enjoy his take on social commentary.

The museum and city of Christchurch are hosting a wider exhibition on graffiti and street art. Given that the Art Gallery is closed owning to earthquake damage, the city is making good use of all it’s large blank canvasses in the form of big blank walls, and there is a lot of art to be found just driving around. But I’ll get to that in later posts. Would you like to know more?

New Zealand – Christchurch

We’ve been on a trip! From where we are now, it was a long trip. It is quite the odd experience to sit on a plane and watch the days collapse into each other, as you sit there for a night, a day, another night, and most of the next day …
