Sydney – Part 2

Of course, Sydney is a remarkably large place to get around when you have a lot to see, and not much time to see it in, so we gave in and rented a car for a day. And where would we go with wheels under our butts? Yep, we went up the hills to check out how much has changed up there since we moved out, back in … years ago.

Christchurch – Part 5

As we were saying out final farewells, it was a time to drive around and remind ourselves that though Christchurch has come a long way in the three years since the big quake, there is still so much to do.

This is what’s left of the Cathedral in Cathedral Square. Still fenced off from the public.

The silence was something that both Himself and I wished to reacquaint ourselves with. That night we sat there in silence, sipping on a nice red wine, munching our sandwiches, and contemplating the larger, and smaller questions of life. Would you like to know more?

Next we wanted to see friends. Facebook is one thing, but it’s so much better to actually see the people you care about and sit with them around a table having a pink cider and gossiping about all of life’s little intricacies! So we found a likely looking venue …
