Christmas Market Season

Giftsmas Market Season has commenced and Himself and I took ourselves off to our first-for-the-season at the Westergasfabriek over the weekend. It was filled with some of the most amazing hand-made products and art!

I love this stuffed toy stall, she makes the most wonderful flamingos! Beautiful stuffies are quite popular though, and there were more to be found just a few stalls away, both for sale, and as make-your-own project packs for a very good price! Would you like to know more?

Language Course 2 – Week 2

I can happily report for this week that no information has oozed out of my brain yet for two distinct reasons; First, because we’re still focusing on revision from course one. Second, because it was a short week and therefore we only had one lesson.

I’m really enjoying the longer lesson time with this second course! I feel like I’m getting so much more out of every lesson! I guess too though, it’s because we’re able to go at a faster speed through topics we’ve already covered and therefore just have to dredge the grey matter to retrieve the basics before adding new information to it.

The Gnome Swap

To go with the posts I’ve already shown you of what I was sending to my Swapee (the stitch markers and the scarf) here’s what else I bundled up and posted off on Monday.

First there was a brooch which I designed and hand sewed.
