Todays’ Table – Stole and Shawl
I finally finished my fox stole!
Isn’t it wonderful?!? So I’ve moved on to a new circular shawl. Apparently all is not right with the world unless I’m working on a giant piece of lace. Would you like to know more?

In honour of Mum’s birthday, a tea shop.
If I could bring you anywhere Mum, it would be here. Where we could sit and partake in endless cups of tea, and while away the hours after spending a morning enriching ourselves at the Rijksmuseum.
Alkmaar
I’ve been adventuring again! I headed up North to spend a day in Alkmaar with a friend.
This beautiful old city (what city have I shown you yet from the Netherlands is that isn’t entirely picturesque?) was first recorded as a settlement in the 9th Century and then granted city rights in 1254. (source) Would you like to know more?
Today’s Table – Being Productive
So many things to show you all! I’ve been being productive and making the most of my time. But remember when I finished the epic Estonian stitch shawl? Yeah, here’s what it looks like on (and a good idea of just how huge it really is).
