Handwerkbeurs 2015

The annual pilgrimage to the hand craft fair in Zwolle was last week. As has come to be expected, it maintained its reputation for being a crafter’s dream come true!

Upon entrance we stampeded our way directly to the ever popular, all time favourite; Bart & Francis. Not only to pore over their amazing selection of fibres, but I wanted to show off a project to them which I had made from their gorgeous yarn. (The details of which you will see in a coming post later this week!) Would you like to know more?

Museum Van Loon

Goodmorning Gentle Readers! How are you all? I hope your outlook for the week is exciting and adventurous! I have been exploring again, and have gone to a new museum, which I want to share with you all today; the Museum Van Loon.

A New Year

I have been putting off this post for over a fortnight now, and for no good reason I can see. I am just lacking the drive to post around here right at the moment. Better late than never though, and here are some of my New Years reflections.

We spent New Years Eve on the couch trying to keep the cats calm and the noise from the fireworks outside at bay. We were mostly successful! New Years Day we went on our annual walk around the park taking photos to document this year’s devastation.

So many ducks were in the park this year! I mean, I know that it has been a remarkably mild year again this year, but it still took me by surprise. Would you like to know more?

These are up all over Amsterdam at the moment as a warning to tourists that 12 people are in hospital and 3 people have died from mistaking white heroin for cocaine, and asking people to not trust street dealers.
