We had a treat this weekend! Himself placed in an art competition at our favourite café, and won (which he was kind enough to take me to) a tasting and glass of wine for two people at the Wine Bar – Screaming Beans.

Well! Where to even begin?!? I’ll start by saying that everything we had was amazing, subtle, delicate, and yet rich and satisfying. We allowed the kitchen to choose our meal for us, because it’s always fun to put yourself in the hands of the professionals! Would you like to know more?

Today’s Table – Dreambird

There were a few questions when I posted about visiting Enkhuizen, regarding the yarn I bought. The project I was in the middle of was one you’ve all seen before, my Dreambird. The inspiration came from a ball of Kauni in the “EQ” colourway.

A week went by …

I’m sorry! I appear to have forgotten to post for a week! In amongst all the holidays it’s been a busy one and we’ve achieved a lot! We’ve had a long weekend, and the Easter Bunny found us.

I have been having issues with my Dutch language progress since I stopped going to courses, and I reached the conclusion that the best way to fix that was to work on my skills. Short of actually conversing with people, I went for the next best option; I joined the library!
