I have been a busy little beaver finishing off my massive rainbow shawl just in time for it to get too hot to wear it!
We took it with us on our picnic last week so that Himself could take some photos for me.
It is incredibly fun to twirl with!
It gives me great joy whenever I see it!
Of course, now it’s packed away for the Summer, so I’ll see it again in about November!
With the sewing machine at my finger tips I had to test it out and practice some of my rusty sewing skills, and what better way to do that than by making myself a new project bag to take to knit night!
It is amazingly roomy and even has pockets on the inside!
Of course it’s not bad for keeping all my kitting together around the house too!
I’m currently working on just a light scarf in a simple three stitch repeat. Of course the hand-painted alpaca yarn adds to the luxury of the piece! It’s so soft it feels like it could melt in your hand when you pick it up!
What have you been up to?
Oh, wow, that’s come out so well – positively gorgeous (and great photography too, if I may say so π )
Of course you can say so! I shall point Himself in this direction too so he can see it as well! π
The Dreambird looks terrific! Congratulations!
After seeing how grand your project bag looks, I must admit that I am very tempted to try one myself. Now I just have to hunt down the pattern link!
I knew there was something the post was missing! Let me find that for you π
