We went to Vondelpark to see the Art Installation that’s there for the Summer.
The weather was having a good day; not too hot in the sun, but with a light cool breeze. Just enough to bring a chill to sitting in the shade. So we thought we’d make the most of it.
The sculptures are strong, bold pieces which have been placed along the main thoroughfare of the park.
Most of Amsterdam was in Vondelpark today.
Not that I was surprised. They all seem to go there when the weather is even slightly sunny!
And though there is the odd quiet spot …
… the sound from the stage carries really well across all of the park.
Next time I think I’ll plan a little better and take my picnic, a blanket, a book, and a hat with me.
